The conference will see the CEO of MBC Africa, Anna Samake, deliver the Welcome Address to make way for the commencement of the conference.
Her Address sets the tone for the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ghana, Ron Strikker, Guest Speaker of the occasion, to address our noble audience.
The Senior Minister of Ghana and the Minister for Business Development will be interviewed by the moderator of the day, Anita Erskine on the topic, the “importance of entrepreneurship; government’s role in building the right ecosystems for start-ups and early stage businesses”. This is shortly followed by another interview with Samuel Waterberg;CEO of People’s Pension Trust Ghana.
After the first coffee break, we listen to an insightful interview with some highly recognized Ghanaian entrepreneurs and two Ghanaian bank representatives discussing “The Role of local banks in financing early stage businesses in Ghana”.
The exciting moments of witnessing young businesses pitch their business concepts to an audience of potential Investors, Policy makers and potential Consumers, comes next to a refreshing and a well networked lunch break.

Followed immediately is yet another exciting interview on “Building the new generation of entrepreneurs in Ghana: role of incubators and accelerators” by some incubator managers in Ghana and Walter de Wiel Managing Director of Impact Booster.
Prior to the closing ceremony and the presentation of awards, is an interview with Mr. Eric Osiakwan, (Chanzo Capital – Africa Angel Fair) and the ANDE Report on SGB Ecosystem trends in West Africa by Ajani Olatunji (ANDE West Africa Chapter Coordinator)
 The networking session eventually ends the maiden edition of the Start-up Investor Conference.
