You will receive a professional business plan that is suitable for presenting to potential partners, collaborators, and investors.

Website Set-Up

Description:
Is it time that your customers were able to find you online? We will get your business set up with a fully customizable website and custom web address, with hosting included. We will teach you how to edit and manage your website yourself so that your marketing department can take full control of your online presence for years to come. We will teach you how to accept orders through your website and showcase your products and services to the world.

Social Media Training

Description:
Many businesses are using social media, but only a few businesses are using social media well. A strong social media presence is vitally important for growing businesses in today’s competitive, fast-paced world. Work with a social media coach to improve your company’s online presence and establish the voice of your company with your social networks. We provide assistance with making the most of five social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, WhatsApp, and GoogleMaps/Google+. We will also provide guidance in how to create relevant and engaging content for your audience.

Two 2-hour sessions which includes social media account setup and social media management coaching.

Recordkeeping Training and Setup

Description:
One of the most critical aspects that a potential investor examines is the business’ historical financial records. Whether you would like to keep records in a book, on your computer, on your phone, or a combination of these, we will get you set up with the appropriate tools and templates to get your business on the road to financial success. This service includes initial setup with a recordkeeping system and recordkeeping coaching from an MBC Africa accounting professional.

Sales and Marketing Strategy

Description:
Identifying and reaching the right market with your products or services is one of the greatest challenge a young business faces. We will assist you in conducting market research and putting a sales and marketing strategy in place so you can start your business off in the right direction.

Pitch Coaching and Deck Design

Description:
Being able to deliver a succinct, targeted, and impactful pitch is an absolutely essential skill to have when seeking investment. In this service, an MBC Africa advisor will work with the client to perfect both their full pitch (5-10 min. long) and elevator pitch (1-3 min. long). MBC will help the client create an impactful visual aid (PowerPoint usually) and will also advise the client on how to best present and position their business to future investors/partners.
This service consists of two or three 2-hour sessions. The first session and half of the second session are focused on perfecting the visual aid presentation (client needs to prepare draft before). The remainder of the service concentrates on rehearsing an impactful verbal presentation (client needs to prepare draft before).

Two or three 2-hour sessions which results in a fully presentable visual aid and rehearsed pitches. 1-4 weeks duration.

Understand Your Market and Customers Training

Description:

For a business to survive, let alone grow, it is of the utmost importance to truly and thoroughly understand the target market and the customers within it. Time and time again entrepreneurs base their business decisions and direction on their unverified assumptions, which will always lead to only trouble. This training course is designed to teach the entrepreneur a systematic, effective, low-cost approach to acquiring valuable information on their market and customers, testing assumptions along the way.
Logistics and Time Frame:
One 2-hour session during which time we will first thoroughly train you on all key aspects, theory, and strategies of market/customer discovery followed by designing an actual actionable discovery campaign for you to execute.
After you have completed the discovery campaign, there will be one 1-hour follow-up session to assess how the campaign went and to extract valuable learnings from the information collect.
